Saturday, already two days ago: the day I became 23 and I really had an amazing birthday!
It all started the day before, on Friday; after class I went home together with Laura and against all odds; my parents came to visit me for the weekend! Laura and actually more friends and family knew that they were coming especially for my birthday. They had to keep this as a secret and they did it pretty well! I really didn't expect that they were coming so it was really a big surprise!
The day after; on Saturday, I invited my friends in Barcelona to celebrate my birthday together on the boat :-). Actually, it was my first birthday not being in Holland! We ate a birthday cake from Baluard (one of the best bakeries in Barcelona, I love the bread and sweets there!), drank Cava in the sun with some delicous snacks. We had a lot of fun together, as always!
For the night we had the plan to go to the appartment of two of the girls who were also at my birthday party. They made a delicous Sangria and around 02.00 we left their place and went to Sutton to continue partying!
Thanks everyone for the sweet birthday presents, messages, whatsapps and calls! I had an amazing birthday :-) And what did you do last weekend?
